How to Meditate

Take a moment to mark the beginning of your session, such as:

a bow to your mat or chair

a deep breath in, and out

a brief mantra or invocation.

Then sit comfortably.

And breathe naturally.

Pay attention to what is happening:

in the body,

in the senses,

in the mind,

without a need to judge any of it.

Sit for a time.

When you are done, take a moment to mark the end of your session.
